Depois de muito ouvir falar do livro e de assistir o filme, decidi ler e ganhei o livro de presente de uma amiga minha, a minha versão esta em inglês.
Hazel tem câncer e ela passa seus dias assistindo televisão e lendo, seus pais não querem que ela tenha esse comportamento depressivo e que ela deve aproveitar cada dia que lhe resta,então ela vai a um grupo onde ela pode conhecer pessoas que estão passando por casos parecidos com o dela e é nesse grupo onde ela conhece Augustus um garoto que conseguiu vencer o câncer.

Hazel fica incomodada com a forma que ele fica encarando, mas ele é um garoto que não tem nada a perde e quer viver cada dia de sua vida de uma forma intensa,ele quer conhecer Hazel como pessoa e não ficar pensando na doença que ela tem ou transformar ela na menina que tem câncer, como todos fazem quando alguém é diagnosticado.

Eu gostei muito do livro e adorei o Augustus, a história em si é bem leve,nada muito dramático ou que te faça chorar um rio de lágrimas (pelo menos eu não chorei), comparado a outros livros e a um outro filme que vi que tem a mesma vibe e que tem mais detalhes sobre o tema,pretendo ler outros livros do autor.
